I lik bugz.
One time, I was riding in a car and a bug flew in the window and I yelled and swatted at it, but then it flew into the dash board and buzzed around by the heater vent, so I covered up the candy and stayed real quiet. The framework of the car pulled apart and I was launched into the stratosphere, floating over the trees. I could see my mom and down a girl's shirt. This remote doesn't work all the buttons keep falling off. The candy bar melted in my pocket and now I have to smear it on this wall over here. I'm out of cigarettes and the mosfungus is setting in...

WHEW! WHAT A GREAT TIME ON FRIDAY!!!
Yes, Skelatuhn did play at the Liquid Room in case you weren't one of the 120+ in attendance at the show. The boyz tore it up and left no survivors. All the song performances came off flawless, as well as the contest winning which delighted the packed to capacity audience. The audible hoots and guffaws from the audience, as the contest winner Creepy Critter, took the stage to be Sparkle Sparntz senseless with a wet cardboard box while he ran through a moving rendition of 'Where Does My Goldfish Go?', were overwhelming.
What next? Pyrotechnics?
It's no wonder why this band is sweeping the underground scene with lightning speed. All attendees were entitled to free pizza, which was quickly devoured, and a copy of "Spare Rib" which took off like a rocket, blasting through the stratosphere. Basically, if you weren't at our show, I wouldn't be scene in public. Don't be surprised if the next school kid you see is sporting a Skelatin shirt with "Is it supposed to be bent like that?" on it.

OH YEAH! UH HUH! FEEL IT GIRL!!!
Well, the show this Thursday at the Liquid Room is coming together quite well. As usual, we will have pizza, plus some candy, and....
(drum roll please)
.... a new compilation of Skehlawtin music on CD to pass out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There will be an extremely limited amount to give out, but they will be free!!!
The CD will be entitled: Spare Rib
and has the hottest Skelatuyn songs on there!
Barney Fife and the Chewy Chewy Gumdrops have asked me to mention that they will play under the name Barney Fife and the Sparkles, since one of their members' have gone to jail. Best wishes to them, right now.
We are also having a contest!!!! The person who can come closest to guessing the combined birth weight of all the members of Skellatehn will win the opportunity to beat Sparkle Sparntz with a wet cardboard box as he cranks out a hot Skellatehn track live in front of the audience at the Liquid Room this Thursday!!!! This is too good of an offer to refuse!! YAHOO! ALL RIGHT!!!
The show on Friday went great! Not much turned out like I expected, but it still came through! We are returning to the Liquid Room on the 16th to play with a band called 'Barney Fife and the Chewy Chewy Gumdrops'. They sound like a blast, and I'm sure this will be a rockin' good time!
I broke a guitar string on the first song, and by the second song the guitar was way the hell out of tune, but we took care of that, changed chord formations, and whipped out a marvelous stage performance. The first set was digitally recorded by our friends' band Morale. They did a great job playing acoustic versions of their typical set, and it was an awesome time for everybody there.

OH MY GOSH!!!! TONIGHT IS THE NIGHT! I'M GONNA FREAK OUT!!!
Yes, yes.
The wheels are in motion. The pizzas are getting cooked. Last night, I bought a set of 3 wicker baskets and one of them is SO perfect for my head. It looks a lot like the one I usually wear, but this one is more forgiving in its flexibility. Fuzzy Sparntz got a fuzzy bass strap. I heard it is real fur, but what can you do? Sparkle has some extra shiny garland and some glitter, and we are gonna rock the Liquid Room tonight.
If you don't go it better be because you are dead (which is still no excuse...), in another state, or in jail, and if you're in jail... BREAK OUT!!!!

YAY! ALL RIGHT! GREAT JOB!!
This just in...
... I heard today that there may be 3 pizzas at the show tomorrow night!!!
Ooooh, I can't wait!!
I am going to go out and get a brand new wicker basket just to make the special occasion even more special! It has to be large enough to fit my head, but tight enough to stay there without falling off if I get into the music.
If anyone out there wants to contribute to my wicker basket collection let me know. I love wicker baskets and will wear them at every show. Our drummer is going to set up the equipment at 7, and I hope that I get here by then. I have to pick up Sparkle and get ready. This shouldn't be a problem, even though I usually get out around 6:00 or 6:15. Hopefully, lots of people will come, but if they don't then there will be plenty of pizza for all of us!

ARE YOU READY?!?!
We are so excited about the upcoming show!!
There will be a pizza there for anyone who wants some, so I'm kinda taking requests from people here as to which kind of pizza I should get for the show. The set list is so hot I can't stand it!!!
I wanted to post it here, but then, where would be the surprise? .... the mystery?? ...the excitement??
Oh well, it'll be fun to see everyone's expressions when we bust out these little ditties...
Some of the songs will be ones you already know, probably, but there are some new ones that people are going to... I don't know... feel one way or another about. At any rate I can't wait.
So, go ahead and make a comment so I know what kind of pizza people will want us to bring.
Oh yeah, and there will be popcorn too.

Yay! Skellatin has a blog!
Today Wicker Sparntz has made a blog for the band Skellatun. We are very excited about our upcoming shows and this is also an exciting development! We have lots of CDs available and we love all of them! If you want to hear mp3s you should probably check out the IUMA page that Fuzzy Sparntz made:

We are a trio of fun loving Sparntzes and we want to play shows everywhere all the time. We throw down where ever we go: parties, middle of the street, studios, in peoples' cars, grocery stores, peoples' apartments.... where ever! We use regular instruments and electronic ones also. Soon we will add more pictures to everything, as we play more shows, but for now, wander around our sites and you'll get a little feel for what Skellatun is all about.
